Even though I know there's someone who loves me far better than I deserve, probably several someones if I count my family and friends, the problem is that he's so far away that his love becomes an academic/intellectual matter rather than a physically present motivator.
Sooner or later I'll get off my self-pity kick, quit whining, and shut up and fix my problems, but for now I'm still wallowing. Pondering whether to have a carrot for dinner or to go on a proper fast since I haven't eaten in ten hours anyway, and then only two pieces of toast.
