sakon76Am extant. Have "done" a WorldCon. There are some areas in which I think it was better than an anime con, but many more points where the converse is true. Will discourse later.
Our group won Best Workmanship, Journeyman class, as well as a special Most Photogenic award. I'd feel more elated about how special this was had there been proper workmanship judging. As it was, our group of five was gone over in less than three minutes, and at least one of the judges was extremely ticked off at this brevity as well.
Attended Baen's preview panel where it was confirmed that Bujold has signed a contract for another Vorkosigan book (to be published ~2009).
And that is all for now as I am now ISO unconsciousness.
