Got to visit my grandfather and aunt and uncle and cousins, which was interesting. Grandpa's in an assisted care facility (a very nice one, Lisa) that he swears he will be out of any day now. Unfortunately, I severely doubt it. His longtime pronoun confusion among family members is worse than ever, and his mind is definitely wandering. My uncle (my dad's youngest brother) is stark gray now, as is his wife. My parents are both still mostly dark blonde with silver streaks. I've always held it shows the mentality and lifestyle differences. My cousins were fun to remeet. The elder is now a high school senior and may be going to college in SoCal, which would be fun. She's a singer and has already been approached by Disney. Woot!
Currently at the con, rooming with six of my nearest and dearest. ConOps is far more interesting and chaotic than Info Desk was last year. Should actually go get dressed and head out. Am due to work opening shift at 7am. Badge has nifty HikaGo art. Will report back later, maybe.
