Seething mass of liquid hatred

I am currently on an eighteen-hour "clear liquids only" program prior to my x-ray tomorrow morning. Because I didn't have lunch (that little "no raw fruits or veg" thing for another test I'm undergoing /really/ cramping my diet...), all the water is hitting my stomach like rocks.

Add that onto one of those days at work that you wish never happened, and I hate the universe at the moment.

And, yes, vodka is a clear liquid. Unfortunately I don't drink it, otherwise my hatred might be ameliorated somewhat.

clear-ish juices (apple juice, for example) and broths also count as clear liquids... essentially... anything you can see through when poured into a clear glass... you could drink gasoline and it would still count as a clear liquid if you survived it... :-P

I don't recommend vodka on an empty stomach, though. Personal experience on this one.

Yeah, was gonna say vodka on an empty stomach is a guaranteed reciple for yarfification. Umeshuu (plum "wine" from Japan) is probably gentler on the stomach, and more nutritious, but...
