sakon76Had friends over tonight. Haven't seen Laura in ages, we talked cosplay and relationships and Monday's her birthday so I invited her over and will cook dinner for her and John. Tuesday I cook a nice romantic belated anniversary dinner for my parents. And today I baked an apple pie (my mother peeled the apples for me while I cored and sliced them), the crust of which turned out disappointing as the contents fell while cooking. Maybe I should stick to mini apple pies? Also made whipped cream to go on top, of course.
Sewing room got cleaned up a bit and I acquired the fabric for belt and strap edging for competition costume. Still need red ribbon fabric and white Balina solid. The closest of my three local JoAnn's was out--must go explore the possibilities inherent in the other two.
