Ease of sewing

Have caved and used Martha McCain's petticoat pattern from Simplicity's "this is not Shakespeare in Love, no, really" pattern instead of Alcega's. Mainly for ease of being able to remove the boning for transportation. This, however, means I can anticipate cutting lots of 1.5" wide bias strips tonight. In the meantime, a bit of housecleaning has been done this morning but I need to do a lot more when I get home from work/gym tonight.

Or you could buy a bunch of 1.5 inch twill tape, which is what I'm doing for my hoops.

(Smart choice, btw; tucks are a royal PITA.)
