One Wild Night

sakon76Am up after a wild night of costuming. Got Three of Hearts' earrings done. Should it disturb me that when I hand-sew my stitches are finer than those my sewing machine makes? Also found the bases I'd bought a while back for a specific purpose and used them for that intended purpose, repairing a pair of my 1928 earrings.
Haven't sewn Three of Hearts' hat completely finished yet. Need to take a gander at the SCA hat I based the design on and remember how to slip-stich the fabric closed. I am perhaps not very awake yet. Also got all the base layers for Three of Spades' hat basted together last night while watching _Read or Die_. Have some arguments with the translation, as always, but not a whole ton because I was listening as much as watching. I've seen it before and so I could do that. Still fun. Need to tidy up the living room now that I've got everything cut out for now.
