sew lining to dress
draft, fit, cut, and sew the collar
cut and sew the ruffle
sew the above together and to the dress
put the zipper in
add hooks and eyes to the belt and zipper top
thread loops to keep the belt in place
add snaps to bow and dress front so the bow is removeable for washing
figure out how to make the sparkly into the brooch. Probably need to buy jewelry findings and a backing... of some sort...

Yes, but you're not aiming to make your friends shriek once they see what your new costume is.

ahhh... but the beautiful part about my list is that I can DREAM about my friends shrieking when they see what my new costume is... :-P Don't have to exert the effort necessary for conscious thought... :-P

hmmmm... I think I need to practice this more often! :)
