hoshikage, it'll amuse you to know it's the bridesmaid's pattern from your wedding) and figured out what to do about belt and where to open the thing to wiggle into it. Nice of Threads to have an article on making fabric belts only an issue or two ago, isn't it? Might make my top mockup before bed, or might not... we'll see. Decided to use the heavily-patterned side of the moire fabric, as it really is a fairly plain costume. It might make people twitch, but at least it'll be memorable. (Ie, "Save me! Save my eyes! She was wearing '70s curtains!" will be the screams heard as people flee. I love my inherited fabric stash.)
