FFs and costume-y things.

sakon76Wonderful Husband is currently playing FFX. I keep wanting to refer to the whole Yevonites versus Al Bhed thing as "the Catholics versus the Protestants." Wakka's accent doesn't help. Wonderful Husband also showed me the character designs for FFXII (aka "the next FF to be over-cosplayed"). Interesting... also snarkable.
Did fabric district, got thread, lining, gloves, gem for brooch and even red teardrop gems, though, alas, they are not glass. But I'll live with it. Am taking break from cutting and sewing of skirts. Incidentally, keeping my prom dress from high school has just proven to be a good thing--its shoulders are similar to this costume's and helped me greatly in figuring out how to construct the thing. ^^
