"...and they threw the tea into the harbour, thus rendering it unfit to drink. Even for Americans." --Mr. Banks, Mary Poppins

You'd think that in a marriage between a Briton and an American, our preferred choice of beverage would be a bit more of a hot topic, but other than teasing each other once in a while, it's not. He drinks British tea (Typhoo or Tetley's, hot with milk and sugar) and I drink either sun tea (Lipton's, cold and plain) or herbal tea (hot, plain). Admittedly it doesn't make for a lot of room in the cupboard, but so long as we both go away happy, cupboard space is a happy compromise.

..I tend to drink green tea or coffee, neither of which Morag is too keen on; meanwhile, she likes way more milk in her tea than I'd ever like. She tends to snack on various forms of sugar, I tend to snack on various forms of cured meat.. We usually have a very full fridge :)

I drink green tea too; Douglas tends to stay away from it. And he also tends to snack on various forms of sugar while I prefer fruit. ^_^
