Today I actually got busywork! (Aka the manager needs a count for the state to keep our license of how many people's ashes we've scattered at sea over the last two years. I've one more column to tott up in the morning, but so far it's well over two thousand. All added by hand. I don't *do* adding machines for simple addition.)

Then I came home and discovered the bedroom! There is actually a large section of clean floor, all the laundry except Wonderful Husband's dainties are put away (as I'm actually not sure where he keeps them) and I convinced him that we should get another two bookcases (one a corner unit) during Ikea's 7.75% off sale this weekend. Which will clear at least seven of the boxes in our bedroom and some of the stuff on the closet shelves as well. In return he pointed out that eventually I will need to get rid of some books. *sigh* He's right.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the last sentence. 'Getting rid of' and 'books' just don't seem to belong together. What is this alien concept?

My thought exactly. :) But we already have three bookcases' worth and I'm proposing to add two more and he's saying that at some point we're going to move and to a smaller place....
