Almost have all fifty yards of the last tier of the petticoat/crinoline hemmed...

just need to ruffle it...

and sew it on...

and iron lots more black ribbon to seal the raw edges...

and sew THAT on...

and trim the hem with lace.

....anyone who says petticoats aren't a lot of work has never MADE one. This is my third (one nearly floor-length and one quite short) and is going to end up somewhere around knee length.

On a totally unrelated note, Ren. Faire starts on Saturday and is in Inglewood. (off the 605 between the 10 & 210 fwys...)

Actually it's in Irwindale. We have firm plans to go on the 30th with Sandy and Eric, muzzier plans to go with Mom, Geoffrey and Emma sometime next month, and probably at least one more go with Liz. You gonna come down and do the 'Faire? Only six weeks this year!

I'll be down this weekend and will be going with Matt & Tara ($10 off coupon for first weekend at the website) on Saturday.

Other than that, don't think I'm going to be down after that until at least June. :-P 'Specially not with gas prices these days!!!!
