Of hatmaking and bishounen
May. 23rd, 2003 09:31 pmSpent time today fiddling with the pattern I used to make a toque for SCA garb. If one makes it about 4" taller and a bit less full, it makes a wonderful Cardgirl hat pattern. So I've got the first of the two I'm making (mine and my partner's) done up to the "just add fabric" point. It's a six-layer sandwich, of which the two outer layers are the fabric. Plus I've got three of the six layers cut out for the second hat as well. I think this shall be my weekend project.
In another area, I had a thought. Though both Aishuu and myself have written Kohaku of Spirited Away as being reincarnated into being Akira, his doppelganger in Hikau no Go... why does it have to be so? Wouldn't it also be fun if they were two separate people? Just imagine what'll happen when they meet. Which seems to want to occur in the fourth "His Name" series story. ^^
