Watched most of the Oscars (missed Best Animated Movie, but I did get to see Etna's presentation for Costume Design... I *heart* Etna.) at my parents' this evening, as Wonderful Husband and I don't have television. Well, we have *a* television, but it exists to have DVDs and vidgames played on it, as we decided to cancel cable and our local reception is shite. Mostly we don't miss it. While we were watching the show I ended up cutting out bridesmaid purses for the upcoming wedding. I've arbitrarily decided that everyone gets a different purse style so we won't be grabbing each others' by accident... purple for the three bridesmaids, turquoise for the flower maiden, and white for the bride, of course. The first two are now half-sewn. Tomorrow I get to cut out the last three skirt layers and the last set of sleeve drapes, and maybe the remaining 2.5 purses. Between pattern cutting and the weeding I did in the garden over the weekend, I am going to have Buns of Steel[tm].

Oh, and for those who're interested, I finally got Apple Pie formatted and up on my website.
