Katamari Damacy isn't the product of that rare of a mind-altering substance.

It's no more than the bastard child of Teletubbies and Terry Gilliam (of Monty Python). (A bastard child who obviously grew up in a disco...)

I was told that the game designer was drunk when he came up with the idea. That makes sense, and I can totally see it. My question is: was the entire game staff drunk for the entire time they were making it? And if not, how can they be that completely bizzare while sober??
