sakon76Total weekend sewing thus far:
One dress -- still needs sleeve drapes, underskirt and one more tulle layer, and hemming. All of which can be done over the next month and a half.
Two bodices, boned and grommeted.
One bodice, not yet boned and grommeted. Wonderful Husband will do that after he finishes his ice cream.
Enough overskirts + tulle to do at least a fitting on one more dress tonight. Again, after everyone finishes ice cream.
Two more top layer skirts, ready.
One more midlayer skirt, ready. Need to buy/order enough fabric for three more.
Three pieces out of five for an underskirt. Need to piece/buy enough fabric for two more skirts and the last two pieces.
Five sleeves out of six sewn; two of them edge-finished.
Tons of tulle, ruffled.
So, for two days of cutting and sewing, I think we've done pretty well. Dress #4 (mine) I can pretty much do alone. Dress #3 (Mandi), I can do alone as I'll have her here a few days before the wedding to do skirt hemming.
And I've just found the last sleeve, so I'm off to piece that together....
