Driving home from dinner last night was fun. It involved twelve lightning flashes (big, very big, and bright to the point where the first one made both Wonderful Husband and I ask one another "WTF was that?!"), passing two accidents (the second of which looked rather nasty) and several seconds of hydroplaning, after which we got out of the carpool lane.

There was also a huge-ass rainbow today while I was at work, and I seem to have come down with my December illness in the form of a sore throat. Am drinking hot liquids only in an effort to make it go away.
