Reasons I am happy:

Episode five of Rozen Maiden was so-so, but episode six kicked behind and ended on a cliff-hanger. Oh, and I now have the first volume of the manga.

I also have finally managed to locate and purchase an issue of Cosmode, which is tempting me to subscribe despite the $20/issue price.

Also have more Bleach and Gankutsu-Ou to watch. And a bridesmaid dress to pick up next weekend!

seshat is back from Japan and visiting briefly and has given me doujinshi and postcards. ^^ And Kaikan Phrase to watch!

Then there's the Tsubasa calendar for next year and volume four of Death Note....

Which one is the obsession du jour? If it's Bleach, I've been watching it for weeks already. Was happy to hear that the two of you are also reading/watching it. Haven't gotten to reading the manga yet, but soon.... Have also gotten Sandy and Eric hooked on the anime. ^^

Death Note is... complex. It's horribly engrossing, not overly graphic compared to Ayatsuri Sakon, but very creepy/scary, very twisted, very brilliant. I read it and keep thinking of things like the section in the Japanese trauma class where we studied the Sakakibara boy.

Hmm. Are we likely to run into one another before Sandy's wedding?

Which one is the obsession du jour?

Bleach. I'm up to volume ...9? of the manga now. I like the way the author plays with the standard Shounen Jump tropes.

I've only seen one episode of Gankutsu-ou. Need to see more.


Are we likely to run into one another before Sandy's wedding?

Sadly, I suspect not. Er, maybe at the bridal shower, I guess? (When is that??)
