On "Shaman" chapter 6:
Need to ponder who has hired Subaru for this job and why. If it's to catch the murderer, I may have a quandry. If it's to placate the spirit actively whomping the police's butts when they try to get evidence so that *they* can catch the murderer, that's another matter. Thinking I'll likely go with the latter option.

On HikaGo:
Put a new disc into my car rotation on the way to school this morning. October Project, which it is ALL MEL AND ALI'S FAULT that listen to them (I like my friends. They get me into evil things.), but this has raised a bit of an ethical quandry. Which is actually a moot point at the moment, but hopefully at some point will not be. "Bury My Lovely," child abuse song though it is, would work well as a HikaGo AMV, esp. paired with the BSB "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" one I have planned. But HFP have already done a fabulous Roswell music video to the song (this being how it's all Mel and Ali's fault that I know about/like October Project) so it feels at this point like it'd be rooking the song from them. Not that I think they'll care in any way other than to be complimented and amused, but.... 'S still a moot point, anyway. Can't get my computer to recognize my scanner or my zip drive, stay online, or play video. This makes installing the equipment to *make* AMVs a bit chancy still. I am the black hole of tech; my father hasn't the time to make it work, and my fiance's on another continent at the moment.

On paperwork:
Going to INS tomorrow morning with list of forms to get and qns to ask. Also have picked up graduation/readmittance forms to complete over the w/e.

Anything else? Intelligent thoughts to be posted as they occur. Do not expect immediacy.

Not to worry...

*wave* *wave* I can't speak for Kitty, but as far as I'm concerned, you should feel totally free to go ahead and use BML for an AMV. I've never subscribed to the theory that once someone uses a song for a project that it shouldn't be used again. I mean, hey, people would run out of music mighty quick if that were the case! We don't have any claim on the song, and in fact, I was introduced to October Project from seeing BML used in an Utena video! You'd be using it for your own artistic interpretation, and I'd love to see what you're thinking of doing. Nah, the only time we get annoyed is when people directly lift noticable sections, ie several scenes/clips together, of our editting out of our videos and plonk them down in another song and call it their own work.

But what do you mean, we get you into evil things?? *innocence* October Project isn't evil! :)

Anything that makes me desire to spend money on its acquisition is inherently evil. :) IE, everything I like = evil. Makes for a very interesting universe.

But at least there are only two Oct Project CDs. It's not like we hooked you on, oh, Nightwish, like I did for Mel... :)
