Stripey cat has ADD

I'm babysitting my dad's new 9-week-old kitten this weekend while my parents go out of town to a wedding. Ziggy's cute and affectionate and my cats, of course, can't stand this stranger intruding in their house. Which means that giving Ziggy social interaction and attention would be so much easier if he wasn't also highly curious and wanting to be exploring this whole big new place with those fascinating older kitties. I sense he is not cut out for a future career as lapcat, given that I can't keep him on mine.
