Halloween costume, and writing class
Sep. 16th, 2010 10:34 amAm ponderficimacating Halloween. Which has the grace and decency to be on a weekend this year! (My office does not allow the wearing of costumes.)
This has caught my eye. I doubt I'll be able to get the actual pattern, but I probably have a modern genie/harem girl pattern that I can adapt for the trousers, a vest pattern I can modify for the top piece, and making the hat and veil shouldn't be that difficult....
Now I just need to poke Wonderful Husband to see if he has any thoughts for himself. ^_^
Writing class resumed last night. It was long, and starts half an hour earlier than I'd like, but is well worth the going. About a half dozen of the other students from last term have come back, including a few of my favorite writers. Time to polish my next ten pages and do up a cover sheet for the newbies, and submit for review next week!
