Canz Be Goin-Home Timez Yet?

Rather on the blah side of things today. Went to bed not only on time last night, but even half an hour early. Am going through one of my periodic binges of housecleaning, which means that's what I spent most of last night and this morning before coming into work doing. I have this harebrained notion, y'see, that if I can manage to get the house in order it might actually be easier to keep it that way. We'll see. I do have to report, however, that after one more attempt at shifting the shelves on the bookcase to make everything try and fit again, I've given up. It just doesn't want to work with me. This essentially means that I've got to coordinate all four bookcases (two upstairs, two down) to get everything in order. Which is going to involve digging one of them out from all the stuff Wonderful Husband and I have piled in front of it... but then, the bedroom is the worst offender in the "dear Gods how did we let it get like this?!" category anyway. A good reaming out is overdue.

Am considering, since I have a three-day weekend, doing a Project Challenge for myself. Am still in the primary planning stages, so not sure yet. Will let y'all know when I've decided. (IE, by Friday night.)
