(no subject)

Almost to the end of chapter four, life in the kitchens. Chapter five should be summer rains and solstice celebrations with undertones and fireworks so yay! Fun stuff.

Catsmeow posted two more chapters of "Shadows" which is why I'm up so late. Was *reading*... *cheering* out loud during at least three parts. Really looking forward to the next chapter. Fallout from event of chapter fifteen will be so fun to read. ^^

Hah! Chapter four done and sent off to prereaders. Two of whom actually already got back to me about it. Yay! One mentioned inconsitent characterization of Marin in the first three chapter, which is about on the mark. Thing is, I thought I'd got a hold on her... and then she went hyper-jealous on me. So I went back and tried to regrasp her and toned that down a bit. She's still being territorial, but not so badly. I think as soon as I get to the rain scene in five she'll be back on balance again. I'd say she's badly socialized, but she's not... more like in an unfamiliar situation and trying desperately to stay atop things. Ahh, I should get off trying to explain her and just write her.

Baking bread again. V.2.0--slightly cooler water, and am letting the bread rise in an oven heated to "warm" setting. Let's see how it goes.

Nearly four pages done on chapter five. I got to the rain scene, which makes me *happy*. And found out more about Rosemarinda. But durnit, I'm coming up against the horses thing in the next chapter. Hmm, maybe ask Ariane-jyou if she has the time to edit things about horses for me....
