Wanted to take an accounting class and an online history class at my local community college, but having added up tuition plus fees, I've unfortunately concluded that it'd be too expensive for me at current. I am keeping my head above water, but it's a very narrow thing. Particularly this month as car insurance starts again, car registraion (with smog check) is due, license needs to be renewed, etcetera. Fortunately(?) one of the other hosts' last night was last night, so at the moment I'm picking up at least one extra shift a week.
Since we haven't got the second half of Fruits Basket, Wonderful Husband and I started watching the X tv series last night, as I'd been diligently collecting it last year so as to get the nifty first-print slipcovers. We got through episodes zero and one before calling it midnight. I personally found it relatively mockable (though I suspect the pacing is going to drive me nuts), but was stunned to find out that somehow my wonderful, intelligent, well-read husband HAS NOT READ X. I do not know how he avoided it given that he hangs around me and even more that some of his other friends hadn't foisted it off on him to read. So he didn't like episode zero because it was full of spoilers. (And whole buildings rammed through one another so they formed crosses, but that's me and my snarkiness.)
Off to print photos, mail phones, wreak havoc. Not necessarily in that order.
