May. 9th, 2003 10:19 pmFor the third story in "His Name" series:
(1) Consider how much of Hikaru is Hikaru and hoe much is based on Sai.
(2) Tackle Hi/Aki dichotomy--Hikaru is naturally gifted at, and fell in love with, Go. Akira? Trained probably since birth, considers Go a "way" (as in bushidou, iado, etc)... but does he truly love it as Hikaru loves it? Explore.
(3) Contemplate current manga level/style of interaction between Touya and Waya. Decide how time and events have altered this interaction. Finish the bloody kitchen scene!
In other (non-fanfic) news, I hauled and set many more brickish things today, then went with my mother to purchase a cubic yard of topsoil and shoveled and hauled and dumped it into the brand-new raised bed that I MADE ALL BY MYSELF. Go me. Inner dimensions approximately 4'x6.5'x1' above ground level. Tomorrow I get to put plants in it. I should alse check on my volunteer tomato plants (2 so far) and my volunteer sting bean plants. In any case, all this physical labor leads self to the inevitable results: ass hurts, back hurts, hand dry, face probably sunburnt. But tomorrow I get to put plants in it! [This thought somehow seems to be worth repeating, as well as worth the pain.]
