The scarf, as modeled by my Wonderful Husband, and its backside. Unfortunately, in photographs the dark purple and the dark gray in the center are tending to blur together and I thus can't get a good picture of the gray loops going into the purple bobbles, but the purple loops going into the cream puffs are fairly visible.
