Makeup purchased. Stuff half-packed. Met up with friend for lunch. She gave us the Gundam Wing BOX SET. And all of Pilot Candidate. And tried to give us Samurai Troopers as well, but we have all of it save one volume and couldn't remember which one it was we were missing. Did I mention this is the friend who works for Bandai? Who is helping me (in as much as she can) in the Quest to be Hired by Bandai. I think once we've finished RahXephon, may as for her help obtaining Banner of the Stars and its sequel. I think she gets Bandai DVDs for a very good discount.

Ah, yes, RahXephon. ghilledhu, having seen the bra in question, yes, it is indeed a perfect match. Go you! And also, to both you and velvetpaws, do not even try to tell me that it was not that line about sakura trees in episode five that acted as the fatal hook.

'Course, at this point in my life, if I ever did need to get rid of a dead body, I *would* plant a sakura tree above it. Just because.

Now to finish packing and then go to work.

*g* Actually, the sakura line was just the extra squee and sprinkles on top. I was sold by the "Euphoria" AMV at AX last year (I think?) which featured among other things the shot of Ayato falling backward through the portal of light into the Rahxephon with this look of transcendence on his face. Beautiful character designs and hints of surreally mystical stuff. How could I resist?

Actually, for me it's the music/magic connection. That's always been a hook for me. That and I really liked the character designs. I find the faces unusually expressive.
