Makes me feel that maybe, just maybe, the hell of this Japanese degree has been worth something. Fear the translator.
Yesterday I finished digging up the first 9'x5.5' garden bed. Need to start on the second one sometime this week. And nag my parents about getting the railroad ties (I caved. I'm not happy, but I caved, since they're buying them) to make it a raised bed and buying the dirt to put in it. And my mother and I cut back the 20' diameter rosebush where it was encroaching into the neighbor's yard. The thing is only two years old, started from a bare-roots plant. Fear the Mme. Cecile de Brunner.
I wonder if it's ironic, appropriate, or typical that the underthings for the cardgirl costume are taking multiple times the construction time than the parts of the costume that will be seen? Need to get more white ribbon. What I had will get me halfway around the hem, but not all the way. I've used a hundred yards on this thing for the seams and hem and it's not enough. Fear the crinoline.
Going to work now. Fear the Easter Sunday brunch. [I do.]
