sakon76Watched disc two of Cowboy Bebop tonight. I never watched the series when it was big/just coming out, so I'm doing it now in disc-by-disc chunks since we have the whole series. ghilledhu and velvetpaws we'll get to it).... Last night I got the Wonderful Husband to watch with me the slashy goodness that is the first Onmyouji movie. I think he liked. It made me want the second movie but I still can't justify ~$60 for one DVD. Even if it does already have English subtitles. Ah well. At some point.
My mother did a good job on herself this morning in her second (and, mercifully, final) motorcycle class. Deep bruises on both hands, at least one knee, a banged-up ankle... still, she seemed to enjoy her gift from us, even if she wasn't up to going out for dinner. But this reminds me of why I personally will never ride a motorcycle. I know it's just me, but... I prefer my mode of transportation to either (1) have some modicum of comfort, like AC and a CD player, or (2) if two-wheeled, to weigh far less than I do. My parents are free to go play on the things all they like. Me, I'm a wuss and happy this way.
