May. 2nd, 2004 11:11 pmThe bedroom is slowly (a box at a time) being made liveable. Mind you, given that the contents of said boxes are being transported into the computers/sewing room, this is at the cost of my attempts to keep the c/s room neat. Still, not doing too badly so far. My patterns are (gasp!) organized and stored in a stack of boxes in the closet. My thread racks (which grumblebitchwhinemoancomplain are not designed to adhere to wallspace in any fashion) are leaning against them. I've gone through my sewing desk, inherited from my late grandmother, and cleaned and organized my way through it, discovering rather a lot of lovely silk twist thread as well as ever-useful items such as elastic, velcro, interfacing, needles, and pins. I now have so many needles and pins that I should never ever have to buy the things again so long as I live. And buttons! But I'm getting there. Set by step....
Maybe I'll indulge myself and the weather tomorrow and make up a quick cool pleated skirt out of that piece of blindingly hot pink cotton my sister gave to me.
