Having mostly decided I can't afford Otakon this year, I've just been looking at the alternative option of Costume College. Which is sounding really tempting....

I've never been to Costume College, it being on the opposite coast. But I've heard reports from people who have and they say it's highly worthwhile.

OTOH, no K-chan at Otakon? Figures, the one year I finally decide to go...*pouts*

Well, we will see each other in two weeks at AB.

Otakon is something I need to sit down and discuss with Douglas. Because it's flight + hotel + food + con reg + any spending money... and I've spent a lot already on flights for this last weekend's construction jam session and flights to AB. And I am, unfortunately, still running on limited funds. (Need real job.) Costume College, being within driving distance of me, will, OTOH, cost only reg + car fuel.

I have, incidentally, been going through CostumeCon photos and spotting a few of you. ^^
