sakon76Blue fabric found. Now to run it through the washer to make sure it's as shrunk as it's going to get, then see if I can lay out another 13th century undergown on it. I can take several inches off the pattern because I don't care how period it may or may not be, I am NOT walking on my skirts.
That said, tonight was Dance Guild. We went through Le Dance de Cleves again and once more through Whirligig. Guiseppe seems interested in holding the guild meetings more than once a month, possibly with an eye towards performance somewhere/when. I would NOT object. I brought cookies tonight--oatmeal chocolate chip--which went over well. Seeing as Guiseppe's making "cheat sheets" for us all and teaching us and finding the music, etcetera, it feels only polite to bring some kind of snack for everyone. Thursday night is Baronial Council. ^^ I probably won't get to this weekend's event (it's all the way up at Caltech) but the Baronial feast is on either the 26th or 27th, and I'm hoping Cyndie will come up for that. We can also discuss skating costumes for her.
Another fleur de lis done. Four more and then I can pearl the rest of 'em, toss the gown in the wash along with the satin for Three of Hearts' (three, not four, because the placement of the suites will look nicer) apron. Finished ribbon-hemming tier three of the petticoat today. Need to iron several more yards of ribbon before going on to tier four. Then only the hem left!
