sakon76Two odd dreams, only one of which I still remember (I remembered the other earlier, but it's gone now...). A sentient house sleep-gasses all of the guests assembled for a dinner party except for the main character (archaeologist type) and accidentally misses his younger brother as well. The two of them against the house (the house doesn't know about the brother, as he's being very careful not to alert it to his movements) but basically won't let the archaeologist out or wake anyone up until the archaeologist can find whatever lock a 500-year-old silver key opens, which is somewhere in the house. I think it might have been to a box which was somewhere in the walls, but I never got that far.
Reading two essays about Nakano Shigeno, a Taisho-era Marxist revolutionary poet. I have to do a presentation about the essays on Thursday. This is bad because I am not a social philosopher (Marxism makes no sense to me) and not a poet (art makes no sense to me). Thus, I am feeling so very "I am screwed..." at the moment. Hopefully Fujii-sensei will be able to help me on this.
Finished bodice mock-up yesterday. It's an inch or two shorter than I personally like, but just right for the costume. I cut the pieces out of a piece of blue crushed velvet I had purchased, just for fun and wearing, and shall be making the actual coplayable version out of some black cotton velvet I inherited from my grandmother. Time to see about ordering steel boning.
