sakon76My grandmother is currently staying in a nursing home, receiving heavy anti-biotics for an infection in her hip (likely what caused her fall in the first place) as well as physical therapy.
My dance instructor has decided that our class is going to go to a local swing club on Wednesday and then not meet for class on Thursday. This would be wonderful (yay, get to go home early!) except for the fact that Thursday night I have to watch a dance performance on campus and turn in a report on it (hiss, boo, have to stay at school after all). Murphy giveth, and Murphy taketh away.
My schedule of costumes for this year's con season is slowly firming up, aided by the fact that Wonderful Husband helped me dig through storage yesterday until we found most of the fabric for a couple of this year's costumes. Plus a box of my CDs and (I think) the last box of my DVDs. I need to go get some Casa Satin for the Cardgirl (the only fabric I couldn't find) but in the meantime I can start with mockups for other costumes. I have about three inches left to sew on Cardgirl's crinoline, which will be done once the fraycheck on the ribbon finishes drying.
