First day of school. Yay for preregistration! Yay for finding parking in time! And yay that my car didn't get ticketed while I was in my first class and then walking over to the parking authorities to get my permit!
Right now am in the hour lull between my "Modernity in Japan" (last requisite for second BA) class and my "Introduction to Social Dance" (taking for fun) class. Having *found* where the latter is, the sign over the door that proclaims "no street shoes" worries me a bit, as I haven't anything else. But ah well and we shall see.
My sister pointed out the other night that I had a blackhead just on the edge of my lip. It being level with the rest of my skin, I'd never really noticed it, but having had it pointed out to me, I decided to get rid of it. After a few minutes of tugging and scraping and that inward squeeze with both thumbnails popping gesture, I ended up with a hard little nubbin that resembled nothing so much as a sesame seed. My thoughts: "I had a SESAME SEED in my skin. It was IN MY SKIN. I wonder, if I planted it, would it grow? What would it grow? I had a sesame seed in my skin...." I am at times a bit odd.
