Currently having the Jem and the Holograms theme song running through my head. Have been background pondering for a while now a Jem fic, one written on the premise of Jem having mysteriously disappeared from the music world ten-fifteen years ago. An investigative piece, perhaps, with the PoV character slowing going deeper and deeper into the world... would have things like a interview with Ashlee, now a singer/songwriter in her own right, and with all the former Holograms, and the Misfits... not sure just where Jem went, as Jerrica's still very definitely alive, but it's something where the reader will be able to know what the reporter won't, as the reader knows of Jerrica/Jem's double life. Current possibility is a car crash killing Rio and paralyzing Jerrica from the waist down.
