Have not done much quilting this week. That same project is still lurking, at the same stage, on my quilting table. Grr! On the other hand, I sewed up two sheets for Jazzy's bassinet (as, of the three sets we had, only one actually fit the mattress), baked pumpkin chocolate chip oatmeal bars for one of Squiddle's classes (the recipe was... okay, but not stunning, and thus not a keeper), and tried to keep myself from getting too run into the ground. With mixed success.

Today has been a "better" day. I wrote up a list of things for Wonderful Husband and I to try and get done this weekend, and about half of them happened today. The new skychair is hung, tomatoes are harvested and washed and in bags in the freezer, four of the ten tomato bushes are pulled and chopped up in the compost bin, laundry and dishes and grocery shopping are caught up, and I have a pumpkin cake cooling atop the stove, to be frosted in the morning. And I have the fabric cut out for another changing pad cover, to hopefully be bound and elastic'ed in the morning.

Sometimes it's not about what you didn't get done, but about what you did.

This is why I believe in lists. It's so satisfying ticking things off (sometimes I add things to the list, just to be able to tick it off :) )
Did Squiddle help to pick the tomatoes? M
