Morning with the Mimic

One of Squiddle's favorite shows to Youtube is Peppa Pig. He engages in a fair amount of fantasy play derived from it, such as calling Doctor Brown Bear when one of his toys suddenly starts coughing or falls down. And he's also picked up various phrases from the show, such as "DE-wicious!" or "You're mos' welcome." Also, "If you jump in muddy puddles, you mus' wear your boots."

This morning, while I was watering the outdoor potted plants and he was "helping," he repeated that last phrase, looked down at his (bare) feet, and said "Oh. I not have any boots." Then proceeded to jump in the (non-muddy) puddle anyway. :)
