Not ending up seeing a movie today. Mainly because none of the showings of Ghostbusters were at the right time for us. Instead, we have been investigating two-child stroller options.
I would prefer a front-and-back arrangement.
But the one I end up liking best (and which will fit the infant car seat) is a side-by-side. The double-wide version of our current stroller, in fact.
Grr. I know for some things going with the cheap option isn't best, but it razzles me that (a) the front-and-back strollers fold up with such difficulty and bulky, and that (b) this stroller is like twice the price of the front-and-back ones we were looking at.
Oh, and (c) seemingly noplace has it actually physically in stock for us to go try out its handling and folding.
I should go sew. It's less stressful.

Date: 2016-08-15 02:15 am (UTC)I'm childfree, but I have 9 nieces and nephews, and have babysat in NYC (subways! taxis! sidewalks), Seattle (cars, hills) and on a cruise with the family (corridors! pool decks!) and my advise is NOT the doublewide. It's a PITA to maneuver, and no matter how bulky the folded up front and back stroller, so long it fits in the trunk of your car, you are fine. Also, when elder child wants to walk around, you'll have an unbalanced stroller, so steering will always pull to the side.
