sakon76Wonderful Husband, who caught either my summer head cold, or the one that's been going around his office, is working from home today, as he has been most of the week.
For me, today is apparently a low-energy day. I'm pushing through things this morning, though, because they need to get done. At least most of the dishes got washed and put away last night, though the jammy pot got left soaking overnight. Still. One load of laundry (Squiddle's diapers) put away, another (his clothes) tumble-drying. Sun tea steeping on the back patio, the kitchen garden beds getting watered one-by-one, bread ingredients in the bread machine, bacon thawing for quiche tonight... I need to straighten the bed and a few pieces of furniture, and go run a couple errands in the car. Hard to make quiche without enough eggs! Whether or not I'll tackle another round of jam today, we'll see, but the strawberries got put in the refrigerator, so they'll be good for another day if not.
ETA: Energy collapse finally hit mid-afternoon. Quiche did not happen. Neither did jam.
