Plugging Away
Jun. 1st, 2016 03:29 pmLast night I hit the point of promising an unjust god I would never, ever clean my sewing/crafting area again if it could just end. At that point, wisely I think, I went to bed.
Today, unfortunately, has been a low-energy day. But I've kept working away at the shelves nonetheless. A couple pieces have gone back on the shelves. A few more have gone into the donation pile. I've currently got six "keeper" stacks organized on the shelves - stripes, plains and prints, wools, white cotton and linen, muslin, silks. Still need to organize the specials (net, sheer, shinies) and go through the velveteens and flannels. But I've made enough room that I've started putting my costuming and quilting books on the shelves, as well as several items that were lurking under the sewing desk. Plus, as Wonderful Husband put it, my fabric now looks like it can breathe.
I'm still scheduling going through my patterns and quilting fabrics for some other week, though.
Enough of a break. Back to work.
