Out of the Mouths of Squiddles?

Finished the baby quilt yesterday, now working on the next one (big brother present). I pulled a 3' leaf block I'd pieced a while back and made that the center, then added a flange and three borders on. While pondering what colors to use, I asked Squiddle if he thought I should use green or brown for the second border vs. the binding, he said very distinctly "Green!" So I went with his suggestion. And good job too - I ended up with 2.5"x4" of the green fabric left. Period. It would not have been nearly enough for the binding. ^_^

Good baby, helping Mummy with the quilting already!

Fourish seems to be the generally agreed on age. And he gets to start learning on his great-granny's handcrank. Less chance of sewing through tiny fingers that way. :)
