Author: Marie Bostwick
Length: 347 pages
At last, I am now fully caught up on the Cobbled Court Quilts series. And I kind of want to read them all again, this time in order.
This, the penultimate volume thus far, deals with Margot, who's been in the series since the beginning, and Phillipa, who makes her debut here. I must admit, I went into this book feeling tentative, since Margot's always been the most devout of the series regulars, and Phillipa is a pastor. And I'm agnostic. But I was delighted to find that issues of faith were not the crux of either's story, and that the issue of family was instead the theme.
I'm not sure if this is the most dynamic of the series, but I will give it that nothing in it annoyed me, and that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Verdict: Recommended.
