Well, Spirited Away did win Best Animated Feature, so I'm moderately happy. Have no idea what won what else, except Chicago for Best Picture, mainly because I was working while the Oscars were on.

My sewing/computer room is all rearranged in a manner that gives me *much* more floorspace than previously held. Now I'm just working on whittling down the pile of everything that got taken off the furniture to move it all around. Still, progress is considerable. I'm hoping to finish tomorrow. Must remember to hang calendar back up as well as a poster or wall scroll in my available space. Then I can go back to sewing. Though right now I've got a TV-watching sewing project going on. Out of twenty-two or so fleur de lis on the skirt of my Ovelia gown, I've now hand-sewn down seven and a half while clearing out my "to watch/rewatch" pile. After I have them all done the pearls go on, five per fleur de lis in graduated sizes. Unfortunately watching a lot of anime has had one *negative* effect. I now like BT of .hack//SIGN and thus feel the urge to cosplay her. So I'm into the bargaining stage with myself: "Okay, if I complete Four of Hearts and Robin within one week, I can make BT." It's really bad because I already *have* all the fabric I'll need for the outfit. Grr. So we'll see. Plus I need to dig up the backyard.

In the meantime, my friend Shanti won numerous costuming accolades at Lunacon this last weekend for her Amidala costume! Wai, wai, wai! Shanti is one of those people who is ridiculously talented. I bow before both her writing and sewing skills. Someday I shall reach that level....

I did get a little other work done today. I finished editing my Yaoi no Matsu... sorry, *Yami* no Matsuei... fanfic "History," html'ized it and posted it to my webpage.

'Nuff stuff for now. Off to sew more fleur de lis, maybe while watching either Troopers or Raideen.
