Keeping the Useful, Discarding the Dross
Aug. 8th, 2013 10:21 pmThis evening, Wonderful Husband and I went to a class about breastfeeding. Which actually did contain some information that I found new and useful. But the teacher really turned me off with her attitude. Despite the fact that she was already preaching to the converted, she was practically evangelical about breastfeeding, and almost militantly against things like epidurals and C-sections.
I'm sorry, I'm hoping to give birth naturally, vaginally, without drugs, but if it wasn't for C-sections, my mother would have died giving birth to me and I'd be dead right along with her. So sometimes these things are medically necessary!
Le sigh. Letting go of the irritation. I am one; I am zen; I am going to bed....
