Title: Toothiana, Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies
Author: William Joyce
Length: 226 pages
For all that it amused me a little less, this book was an easier read than the one about Bunnymund. Less time spent summing up the previous book, I suppose? A more complex moral gray ground? Bonus points for the Monkey King?
The down to this book is, it ends on a cliffhanger. And the next book isn't out for months and months.
The up to the teaser for the next book is that it'll be about Sandman! And contain "the appearance of a wayward lad of considerable interest named Jackson Overland Frost." So I'll be getting that one when it comes out.
Verdict: Recommended for the intended age group, or Guardians fans, or fans of Southeast Asian mythology.
