Title: E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core!
Author: William Joyce
Length: 251 pages
Not quite as good as the Nicholas St. North book, I think. Though I can't say exactly why. This is, however, the book wherein the movie becomes an irreconcilably different universe. Despite Esse's magnificent efforts, Book Bunnymund and Movie Bunnymund are just too different to make sense. (That said, the line about Bunny that "he is difficult to know" rings SO true for both versions. My inner Jack was cackling over that one.)
I suppose a bit of my irritation is that Mother Goose, as a character, has never really appealed to me, and thus I do not like one of the main characters of these stories. :/
Anyway, verdict: Recommended for the fans.
