sakon76I really hate end-of-term burnout. I can't remember if it was this bad when I was on the semester system. Thanking the Gods I'm going down to three academic classes next term as opposed to the current five. Am finished with Classical Japanese, probably could have done a little better on the final if I'd elected to take it on Friday and thus had a bit more studying time, but as it is, I just wanted to get it over with and out of the way. Since I'm not planning on grad school, my grades don't matter so much to me as long as I pass the course. I have to admit, though, I will miss it. It was probably the most interesting class I've taken this year.
To get away from depressing school stuff and the fact that I'm heavily sleep-deprived to where my eyes are hurting after I've just woken up, I went to Gyldenholt's Dance Guild Tuesday night, which was quite fun. We learned a simple English country dance called "The Night Piece," a middle-hard Burgundian dance called "La Danse de Cheves," and a fast, complex English country dance called "Whirligig." It was all fun. Tonight's the Baronial Council wherein I'll get to meet more people.
I'm also starting a co-written YYH fanfic with racerxmachina about fox ownership, have come to a few crystallizations about what exactly is happening in Lady Killer (including at least one controversial--to me, given what the fanfic series has been like so far--discovery about a canon character), and am just really annoyed by the fact that my brain gets creative when I need it to study. But I haven't been writing hardly at all this term, dammit, and I *want* to....
