Exhaustimicated.
Dec. 18th, 2011 08:45 pmI should be going to the gym right now, but instead I'm sitting here with my muscles complaining of fatigue. Today I shifted half of the 300+ bricks from the patio to the otherwise useless cement slab (Wonderful Husband moved the other half), deadheaded and weeded my roses, smoothed a doorway's worth of spackle, and dug amendments (manure, bone meal, blood meal) into a 100+ square foot garden bed, then replaced the soaker hose and covered it all with a 3" thick layer of straw. Which doesn't sound like all that much when written out, but I was drenched in sweat by the time I came in.
So I'm probably not going to the gym tonight. :/
Instead, I'm doing up the last of the Christmas cards, filling out paperwork for the two roses that died on me this year, sending in my Costume College membership... and debating yet again Costume Con. Wonderful Husband pointed out it's only a 6 hour drive, but that adds up to 12 hours, which is a lot, particularly if it's driven in evenings. (I get home from work at 6, which would put me at the hotel around midnight, which is... dicey.)
I'm going to wait to see if people call me back before deciding, and in the meantime go wrap the last of the Christmas presents.
